It’s all about replenishing the soil. When a grazing Grazeful cow naturally tills and fertilizes the pastures, she is replacing the nutrients and strengthens the grass and plants from the soil as they grow. Stronger soil promotes biodiversity and resists erosion too. A well-managed interaction between animals and land is the virtuous cycle of soil regeneration!
Pasture-grazed milk comes from cows that graze on pastures every day the weather allows. 90% of their feed comes from fresh grass and cut forages like hay and silage —just as nature intended. Their time spent grazing also helps build up stronger healthier soil.
A2 milk contains a protein that’s been shown to be easier to digest for some people. DNA testing allows Grazeful cows to be identified as A2 and selected to make milk with the A2 protein. Our A2 milk may be a great option if regular milk or even lactose-free options haven’t worked for you.
Grazeful dairies are in climates where grass grows and cows can roam almost all year. Right now, our first farms are in the lush, grassy hills of southern Missouri, part of the southeastern U.S. otherwise known as the “grass-belt.”
On the pastures and beyond, our farmers are Validus Certified, meaning their dairy practices, facilities and training are reviewed with animal wellbeing in mind. Validus Certified farms undergo regular audits to promote best practices and reinforce a culture of care for our dairy herds.
NON-GMO Project Verified means our milk and dairy feed is produced without the use of genetically modified organisms. This certification involves strict testing and traceability to meet high standards.
Grazeful milk is sourced from independent dairies and distributed by Aurora Organic Dairy – a dairy producer and processor based in Boulder, Colorado with more than 20 years of experience raising organic dairy herds and making high quality, values-based fluid milk products.
